Today, Red Dead Redemption 2 is releasing on PC. The release is set for early afternoon, provided the servers hold up. We will tell you the exact launch time on PC.
What’s happening? After about a year of waiting, PC players can finally play Red Dead Redemption 2 on their platform starting today. Following Xbox One and PS4, the PC is now an officially supported platform for RDR 2. This is a reason for joy for many.
The last hours of waiting have begun. Gates are expected to open in the early afternoon. Then, the wave of players will flood into the story of RDR 2 and the online mode Red Dead Online.
When is the launch of RDR 2 on PC? As PCGamer reports, the start times are already set. PC players can kick off at 8:00 AM EST. That corresponds to 2:00 PM German time.
This start time applies to the Rockstar Games Launcher and the Epic Games Store.
So there are only a few hours left that separate you from the role of Arthur Morgan in the story or a new character in Red Dead Online.
When is the release on Steam? If you want to add RDR 2 to your Steam library and play through it, unfortunately, you will have to wait until next month. The Steam release is scheduled for December 2019. The exact date is still unclear.
What new content is there? For the PC launch, Rockstar Games has come up with some goodies to sweeten this version. You will find new horses or upgraded versions of already known horses. Additionally, weapons from the online mode are now available in the offline world.

How much space does RDR 2 need on PC? The download of Red Dead Redemption 2 is quite large. You will need to download about 109 GB. That is 20 GB more than the PC version of GTA 5 requires.

New driver from Nvidia: In line with the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC, Nvidia has released a new Game-Ready driver. The new driver has the version number 441.12 and should provide you with the best possible experience on launch day. The download of the driver is about 530 MB.
