RDR 2 Update for Red Dead Online – Patch
Is there an update for Red Dead Online? Yes. Rockstar Games has released a patch that is now available for download (November 27, 1:15 PM).
How big is the update? The update is 5.65 GB on Xbox One. The patch on PS4 is also 5.6 GB.
It is a beta – not a full release – content
Rockstar specifically emphasized that the beta phase is starting now. This means that you should not expect content like in GTA 5 Online after 5 years, but should lower your expectations a bit.
What is included in the beta? You can freely move around the world and try out various content. However, this beta is not meant to present the finished online world. Together with the community, Red Dead Online aims to improve through this beta.
Create your own characters: In online mode, you should be able to create your own characters. Additionally, you should be able to adjust your abilities to match your playstyle.
What activities are available? You can team up with up to 8 players in Red Dead Online. Together, you can hunt and fish, battle rival gangs, and engage in spontaneous fights with other players. Data miners have already uncovered some initial info about the quests.
