The servers of Red Dead Online went live around 2:30 PM. However, Xbox users are still having trouble starting. They see “Available Soon” when they try to enter the online mode, even though they own the Ultimate Edition.
Today, the beta of Red Dead Online launched after an update became available. Early access was supposed to let all players who purchased an Ultimate Edition join the multiplayer. However, there are now issues with that. Despite players buying their Ultimate Edition, they cannot access the multiplayer of Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox.
Red Dead Online is live! How’s it going?
At around noon today, November 27, an update for Red Dead Redemption 2 was released. It is approximately 5.6 GB on Xbox One and PS4, so it can be downloaded quickly. While there are no patch notes yet, it is assumed that the update primarily addresses access to the online mode, Red Dead Online.
The first streams on Twitch and YouTube are already live and showing what awaits you in the online world.
You can see character editors where you can customize your game characters. Additionally, you will need to acquire a horse again in order to progress in the online world.
