A new update for Red Dead Online, the multiplayer mode of Red Dead Redemption 2, is on the way. The update finally brings the Evans Repeater Rifle.
Which weapon is coming? Rockstar is finally bringing the Evans Repeater Rifle to the online game with a new update for Red Dead Online. Last week, players were already searching for this weapon, as quests required kills to be made with the rifle.
As it turns out, the developers have announced a larger content drop, the contents of which will gradually be added to RDO.
What is the Evans Repeater Rifle? The rifle is a long gun with a high ammunition capacity and fire rate that players should already know from Red Dead Redemption. In the 2010 game, the Evans Repeater Rifle was part of John Marston’s arsenal.
The rifle can be customized with stocks, scopes, and leather wraps. You can find it at the gunsmith or in the catalog of “Wheeler, Rawson & Co.”.
A new event is coming: Besides the repeater rifle, the free roam event “Fool’s Gold” has also been added to Red Dead Online. In Fool’s Gold, you compete with other players to wear a golden armor. You earn points by eliminating players while wearing the armor.
Additionally, you will receive points if you eliminate an enemy player while they are wearing their armor. The armor will then be dropped and the player who reaches it first will wear it.
Fool’s Gold is one of several events that take place regularly in RDO.
Players receive a care package: To support players during the beta phase of Red Dead Online, they will receive a care package this week. The package contains various items, such as different ammunition, horse medicine, and a lake bait, and can be picked up either at the camp or at a post office.
Additionally, players who complete five daily challenges by March 11 will receive a special spinner next week.
