What kind of server is this? It is the private server “Wild West RP” of the now available as a standalone game Red Dead Online, which you can access through its official website. On this server, players engage in role-playing, embodying their characters properly to create a vibrant Wild West world.
There you will find law enforcement officers and bounty hunters, but of course also bandits and other criminals. Everyone has their role and plays it with passion. This operates similarly to the role-playing server in GTA Online.
There are always interesting events taking place that players can participate in, including herding valuable cattle that bandits want to steal. The operators of the server even distribute plots of land that some players may occupy. Other players then break into the houses to rob them.

What’s up with the jails? It creates a constant cat-and-mouse game between law enforcement and criminals on the server. To make this even more interesting, the operators have introduced a jail.
Players manage it and supervise the inmates. These are other players. If someone is arrested for a crime, they go to this jail and truly participate. For every month a player spends in jail, one minute passes in real time.
Because sitting in this jail can actually be fun. There are always events where breakouts are possible. Or the inmates play out how they redeem themselves and lead a better life after their jail time. There are also activities that help reflect on past misdeeds.
It is possible to bribe the operators of the jail and negotiate a deal to shorten the stay. There are even parole hearings to possibly reduce the time in jail.
There are even some players who are considering attacking the jail to take revenge on the guards there.
The jail on the RDO server “Wild West RP” is a very interesting place that is important for role-playing.
