WildStar – We attempt the turnaround, and the turnaround, and the turnaround
What was the situation?
WildStar is an action MMORPG aimed at capturing former WoW players looking for an ultra-hard, grindy MMORPG “like the old days”.
It only partially succeeded. Although many players bought WildStar, they did not stick with the game and quickly let their subscriptions expire, because WildStar struggled with itemization, content supply, and numerous other aspects.
The problems of WildStar could fill pages: It is a great game in itself, but it has serious flaws that have prevented long-term success. People simply aren’t playing it.
What happened?
WildStar actually tried everything to achieve a turnaround.

The measures taken to save the game all more or less fizzled out. It’s as if WildStar is cursed. When WildStar experienced a surge of players after the Free2Play launch, the servers went down, and this chance was also wasted.
