Every now and then, you encounter people in online games who don’t take the truth and the terms of service too seriously. A streamer was recently thrown into a match with such a person in Rainbow Six Siege. However, the hacker had a very special excuse for his oddly superior performance in the game: it was all just because of his gaming chair.
How was the hack discovered? The streamer Str8Villians played the successful team shooter Rainbow Six Siege on June 24. After a player left his team, a new operator was added through matchmaking.
This player had a spectacular performance, as shortly after the next round began, the new player eliminated all opponents. The round was over in less than five seconds.
The streamer and the other members of the team couldn’t believe it and asked what had just happened. The new player immediately had the perfect answer in the chat: he was so good because of his gaming chair.
Ubisoft can also be quite harsh to its R6 players.
What did the player do? While the team laughed at this absurd excuse, the replay of the round was running. It was clear that it was not due to a particularly good chair, but rather to the excessive use of hacks.
The new player jumped into the air and moved across the map, where he dealt swiftly with the opposing team.
How did his teammates react? Although the teammates now knew how things were going, the hacker did not leave the match but claimed he would now “tone down the speed a bit.” Again, the teammates were astonished, and the streamer Str8Villians asked his comrades over the voice chat what they would do with the hacker now.
With the start of the new round, one of Str8Villians’ teammates took heart and eliminated the hacker. With the team kill, they were now one man down, but the game could continue in a regular manner.
