When does the raid hour start? As usual, the event takes place at 6 PM local time. Then, for one hour on each gym that is not hosting another raid, a Giratina will appear.
Here problems may arise: In New Zealand and Australia, the raid hour is already in progress. It is already 6 PM in the evening there. Players report that their raid eggs are hatching only minutes after 6 PM.
You may have to be a bit patient with raiding. One can only hope that the event does not get canceled, as was the case recently with Mewtwo.
How do I fight against Giratina? The Ghost and Dragon type Pokémon has 5 weaknesses: Ice, Dragon, Fairy, Dark, and Ghost. The best counters are Rayquaza, Salamence, and Palkia.
