What is the problem? Anyone trying to log into CoD on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, encounters queues. Since around 6:00 PM, there have apparently been issues on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. Players are reporting on Twitter and Reddit that they cannot get into the games.
However, the problem does not seem to affect all players. In our tests on PC and PS4, we were able to log in without any issues.
According to Activision, the issue has already been identified and the developers are working on a solution. On Twitter, it is stated that the queues are currently being investigated and updates on the current situation will follow:

Last week, on August 11, there were similar issues around the same time. The first patch for Season 5 was deployed, which included nerfs to the Bruen Mk9. Even then, players complained about queues and being unable to play.

This is what players are waiting for: Today, a new update for Modern Warfare and Warzone was supposed to come, which brings popular Warzone action to multiplayer. However, the update seems to be delayed due to connection issues.
