In Diablo 4 there are various valuable items. One of them is not immediately recognized as particularly valuable, yet it rewards you with a boost to your health in the game – and with a well-intentioned piece of wisdom.
What item is this? It is an amulet obtained through a quest line with the character Taissa in Diablo 4. To avoid spoilers, we will not provide further details about the quest.
It is important to know that in the end you receive the amulet named Mark of the Conclave, which not only provides resistance against all types of damage but also gives a significant boost to your health in the game.
If you are looking for a specific item, you should keep an eye out for certain monster groups and check out a gamble tool.
Regarding your equipment values, this video will help you:
“It brightened my day”
Moreover, the amulet carries a piece of wisdom that was recently discussed in a subreddit. u/Wholesome_Meow writes there: “As someone who suffers from severe depression, this brightened my day.”
What is this piece of wisdom? The item description states: “Healing is a journey. A series of steps. Some days you may stumble, but as long as you keep going and put one foot in front of the other, you will reach your goal.”
In a pinned comment, u/Wholesome_Meow adds: “After completing a side quest with Taissa, I received this item. Despite all the challenges in my life, reading this description really brightened my day and made me more hopeful for the future.”
The post has received over 150 comments so far. Several users write about their own issues with mental health. Others find motivating words for the original poster. LoveMelodyMarch writes: “Just as it says there, step by step, my friend.”
Our colleagues at GamePro have reported that video games are not only used as a projection surface for mental health content, but can also contribute to the improvement of mental health.
The post on the subreddit is referenced in a tweet by Blizzard’s quest designer Harrison G. Pink. He writes:
I wrote this text for this person. I wrote it for myself and I wrote it for you. I wrote it in hope, against all hope, that it helps someone remember that it gets better.
I developed this quest to represent overcoming grief and trauma and to show that healing cannot be forced and you cannot always defeat your demons. But by accepting who you are NOW, you can continue to heal and move forward.

Amulet provides an enormous boost
The player “Coooley” explains in his YouTube video that it is worth accepting and completing Taissa’s quest at a high level because: The item power of items depends on the character level.
The higher your level when picking up items, the higher the item power and the status effects and boosts of an item will be.
What boost does the amulet give me? With the amulet, you receive an increase in your maximum health in Diablo 4. However, this seems to vary depending on when you receive the item. The boost also increases with each upgrade.
In the video, it provides a boost of +512 to maximum health; one player even achieved +2038 at an item level of 100.
Since the amulet is “only” a rare yellow item and not a unique one, you can upgrade it and maximize the boost. So you should definitely keep it.
MeinMMO editor Benedict Grothaus is now in the endgame and is more excited about “yellow” items than about legendaries.
