The huge update “The Lost Continent” for NCSoft’s kung-fu MMO blade & Soul has only just recently been released on the servers, and the developers are already following up. The next update is called “The Call of the Depths” and finally brings a new PvP battlefield.
Extreme Bowling in PvP
The new 6-vs.-6 battlefield “Novakern” provides long-awaited content for PvP enthusiasts. The instance is located inside Seolak and is a kind of killer bowling. Your goal is to guide the energy spheres that spawn in the center of the map into your goal through various paths.
To do this, you must set the switches in time to ensure the sphere reaches its target. Your opponents will, of course, try to prevent this. The new game mode thus requires good coordination and a lot of teamwork.
New Dungeon and Valentine’s Event
PvE fans also get something in the new update. The new dungeon “Depths of the Flood” offers a heroic instance for 6 players. Tentacle horrors from the depths await you inside, who like to … sing?
Less spooky is the Valentine’s event, which also starts in February. There, you can complete daily and weekly tasks to unlock exclusive rewards.
The new update for Blade & Soul starts on February 7, 2018.
