With yesterday’s Weekly Reset, the dungeon “Duality” has entered the rotation in Destiny 2. It offers players a rare chance this week to quickly and easily obtain the best gear in the entire game. MeinMMO tells you how it’s done.

You can assume that Gahlran has to learn in the bootcamp from the first encounter of the Duality dungeon that one must not jump over dangerous edges and that the mechanic cannot be bypassed in the future either.
What can players obtain more easily now? The so-called “Artful Armor” from Destiny 2 is the best that players can currently obtain in the universe of the loot shooter. And this week, it only takes a few minutes to get such coveted loot.
- “Artful Armor” has an additional fifth bonus mod slot.
- This unique mod slot allows players to gain +3 for one of the character stats, such as Strength, Mobility, Resilience, etc.
- Players who possess all 5 armor pieces in artful form have a maximum possible character stat boost of +15 to the option.
With the right distribution, this can create strong triple-100 builds. And at the Master difficulty level, armor pieces often drop between 57 to 68 max value, which is also advantageous.
Here’s how to get the best armor in the game now
Only possible this week: The aforementioned customization options are really helpful in Bungie’s loot shooter and should be pursued by both hardcore players and new players.
However, obtaining the armor is not entirely easy, as it requires playing a dungeon that offers “Artful Armor” at the Master difficulty level.
This week, however, a special opportunity presents itself, as the YouTuber and official PvE god of Destiny 2, Esoterickk, has now shared a glitch trick. It shows you how to obtain the coveted armor as a solo player within minutes. However, it only works this week. So you need to hurry and bring a rope.
Here’s how to quickly get the “Artful Armor”: Normally, we would not share a glitch in the game. But in this case, it is a cheese that exploits a systemic flaw or an obvious design error.
You need to let the first boss in the Duality dungeon fall to his death. The deep abysses and the tether will help you. All options that are possible and do not require out-of-map or other unfair tricks.
- You start the dungeon “Duality” at the “Master” difficulty level and equip yourself with tether specifically with the grappling hook.
- Charge up, shoot the bell, and let Gahlran chase you over the abyss.
Normally, you would have to go through several damage phases with the Gahlran boss of the first Duality encounter to lift his immunity. However, he is not very attentive and will voluntarily plunge to his death with a clever abyss tactic.
While the boss falls into ruin, you use your grappling hook and swing back safely to grab your loot from the box containing the Artful Armor.

As I mentioned in the video, it can be done in a group or alone. The group is of course easier (both to stay alive and to maintain the checkpoint), but it’s also doable for solo players, as shown [in the video].

If you need even better gear, this gives you an easy option to improve or polish your Guardian stats a bit.
Will Bungie fix this? That can be expected. Normally, NPCs are placed back in their spots when they fall down. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case here. So it’s quite possible that Bungie quickly puts an end to this tether cheese and gives Gahlran a crash course on avoiding abysses.
