A major update is coming for the battle royale shooter PUBG on the Xbox One. Starting May 24 at 09:00 AM German time, console players can play on the desert map Miramar. In addition to the new map, the update brings many improvements.

Miramar is the second map in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and is finally coming to consoles. It is approximately the same size as Erangel, the first map of PUBG. Visually, instead of starting in green Erangel with many fields, you begin in the desert of Miramar, which even features a prison as a location.
The fact that you will finally have Miramar on the Xbox One starting Thursday is the biggest change in the update. The goal is to provide players with more variety in their matches. However, other things are changing as well.
Faster Loading Times: With the May update, loading times for maps are expected to be shortened, and the overall performance improved. A new loading system prioritizes loading the location where a player lands. This aims to address issues like missing house textures after landing.
More PC Features on Xbox: The update also unlocks emotes and general UI improvements that PC players have been enjoying for a while.
Bug Fixes: Players should no longer get stuck when leaning to one side. Additionally, the update should ensure that the markings of your teammates are accurately displayed on the map.
