PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – The Best Submachine Guns
If you enjoy blasting away at close quarters, you should get a submachine gun. These handy lead dispensers inflict substantial damage and often have a murderous rate of fire. However, keep in mind that SMGs are not well suited for long-range battles.
Rank 1 – Vector
The state-of-the-art Vector fires powerful .45 ammunition in rapid succession. This makes it a killer at close range! However, keep in mind that the range is limited and you need to be disciplined on the trigger. The magazine holds 13 rounds, which is somewhat limited, though an extension doubles its size! Nonetheless, the Vector shines at the end of most matches, where you fight for survival in tight quarters.

Rank 2 – UMP9
The UMP9 from Heckler & Koch is a 9mm submachine gun from Germany. It is a solid submachine gun and a good all-round weapon. It doesn’t inflict too much damage with its 9mm bullets but has a good firing rate and a large magazine. The range, like all SMGs, is not particularly high.
| Advantages | Disadvantages |
| High rate of fire | Low damage |
| Large magazine | Low range |
Rank 3 – Micro-Uzi
The small Micro-Uzi is an excellent lead slinger! The tiny submachine gun disperses its 25-round 9mm magazine in seconds, but don’t expect to hit anything at longer distances. The Micro-Uzi is therefore a pure close combat weapon. It is ideal for early game, when enemies have no armor yet and can be riddled with bullets in seconds.
| Advantages | Disadvantages |
| Very high rate of fire | Poor range |
| Small magazine |
