In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Stream snipers are a problem for many professionals. But sometimes they also pull off funny pranks on popular streamers. This time it was Shroud who got hit.
What was the fuss about? Professional streamer Shroud was playing PUBG with a buddy. Suddenly, his teammate said: “Look up in the tree, there are some wild animals. Do you have your sound on?”
And indeed, shortly after, monkey sounds could be heard. The joke was: There are actually no monkeys in PUBG!
So the monkeys entered the game: Did the developers secretly patch new wild animals into the game? Not at all, because it was just two stream snipers disguised as monkeys.
Such monkey masks are now available in PUBG. But instead of ambushing Shroud, which they might have managed to do, the two “monkeys” decided to entertain the streamer with their monkey business.
Via voice chat, the monkey screeching was broadcast live from the jokesters to Shroud and Co. The two players were quite amused and watched the show for a while.

Close the door, monkey dead
This is how the monkey safari ended: “What noise does a monkey make when it dies?” wondered Shroud’s buddy and put the theory into practice immediately. A few gunshots later, the monkeys lay stretched out in the grass and the screeching ceased.
“This is a real nature documentary here,” Shroud’s buddy quipped as a one-liner, then the two moved on to earn a chicken dinner.
Stream snipers can also be stream entertainers who follow their idols via stream and decide to bring them into funny situations in the game. There was one player who showed up in his underwear and sang a little song for streamers.
Another stream sniper, on the other hand, disguised himself as a horror clown and scared poor Dr.Disrespect to death!
