What is the Survival Mastery? The new update 4.3, which will soon come to the PUBG test servers, introduces a new progression system. The Weapon Mastery system already allows you to level up weapons by dealing damage and getting kills. New is the Survival Mastery.
The new Survival Mastery focuses on different aspects of the game. Here, you should show that you can survive. And for that, you will be rewarded.
Survival Mastery in PUBG – How does it work?
How many levels are there? In Survival Mastery, you can level up. Initially, the PUBG team decided to set the limit at level 500.
How do you level up? You earn experience points by how you survive phases with blue zones, perform important actions, or simply survive.
EXP is earned for: Looting, using items during fights, combat, reviving teammates.
What rewards are there? For leveling up, you will receive customizations for your PUBG ID.
- Every tenth level rewards you with emblems – Level 5, Level 15, Level 25, and so on.
- Every tenth level rewards you with backgrounds – Level 10, Level 20, Level 30, and so on.
- Every hundredth level rewards you with poses – Level 100, Level 200, Level 300, and so on.
- For levels where you do not unlock rewards for the PUBG ID, you will receive BP.
Where can you see your progress? In the Survival tab of the mastery system, you can view your achievements so far.

- Combat actions
- Combat distance
- Looted items
- Distance traveled
- Drops in hot zones
- Damage taken per game

PUBG ID – Show other players your stats
What is the PUBG ID? After a match, you can view the PUBG IDs of your teammates or the opponents you killed. There, weapon stats, average damage, or average survival time will be displayed.
Rewards that you unlock in the Survival Mastery can customize your PUBG ID. These can be emblems or poses that make the pass special.

New Survival Timeline – Last Match will be adjusted
What will be changed? The display for “Last Match” will be slightly adjusted in the mastery screen. You can expect a few new tabs that make it easier to track progress. In the summary, you will see info about your progress and performance.
The new Survival Timeline shows you in detail when things happened in a match. Were you shot at? Did you find weapons or heal yourself? You can see exactly when that happened.
In the summary of “Combat Action,” you will see details from a period when you fought continuously with opponents. At the end, you will see the damage dealt and taken.
