In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the female characters on the test server suddenly had very tight hot pants that revealed more than they concealed. This was apparently not planned.
In the battle royale shooter PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the goal is to jump unarmed from an airplane onto an island and then partake in a brutal survival fight. How your characters look at the start of a round is determined in a menu before the game. Depending on what you have unlocked, you can enter the fray wearing stylish coats or office attire.
Or just in underwear if you don’t have anything decent to wear or just want to slaughter in your underwear. However, if someone wanted to start on the PUBG test server with a female character in lingerie, they saw more than usual.
New Underwear Causes Outrage
On the test server, new graphics for women’s underwear were apparently used. Because while in the old version you simply saw a plain pair of panties, the test server version clearly outlines the underlying anatomy: the so-called camel toe.
To illustrate this, numerous comparison images were posted on Reddit and Twitter.

The new underwear has sparked a controversial debate on Reddit, with many players finding it inappropriate and sexualizing. Other players, however, found it quite amusing. Eventually, PUBG chief Brendan Greene caught wind of the situation. He promptly apologized to the players and explained the situation.
PUBG Chief Brendan Greene Apologizes
According to Greene, the underwear model is an old version that was designed two years ago by a freelancer at the beginning of the project. Since then, no one has taken care of the file. They plan to revise the model as soon as possible and present a less offensive version.
