In this section, we provide short tips for you that can help you during the match. Keep this list open on a second monitor or smartphone to quickly refer to during a match.

• Always Keep Moving
  • When you move, it becomes harder for opponents to shoot you. Therefore, you should always keep moving. This also applies when looting. Spam the movement keys while doing so. Standing still invites a headshot.
• Change Seat in the Car
  • Situationally, it’s important to sit on a specific side of the vehicle. For example, to take cover when exiting.
    • On PC, press CTRL (Left) and then the keys 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.
    • On the controller, press A (Hold to switch to the driver’s seat).
• Only Shoot When You are Sure You Can Kill Someone
  • Avoid unnecessary shooting, as you expose your position to other players.
• Always Keep an Eye on the Safety Zone
  • Pay attention to the timers displayed to you in the game.
• Swimming – Diving and Surfacing
  • To dive, press the crouch key while swimming.
  • To surface, press the jump key.
• Always Look Around
  • Both during parachute descent and when running, you should always have an eye on your surroundings.
    • On PC, hold down the “ALT” key and move the mouse to look around freely.
    • On the controller, hold down “RB” and look around with the left analog stick.
• Use Loot to Set Traps
  • If you place popular items like bandages on the floor in a house, opponents might think that no one has been in that house. Hide nearby to surprise the opponent.
• The Killcam is Your Friend
  • Did you die? No problem. Watch the killcam recording. There you can see the last seconds of your match from the opponent’s perspective. Here you quickly find out what went wrong and how you could better position yourself, for example.
• (Multiplayer) Better Communication through Coordinates
  • Share enemy positions with your teammates best using compass directions and coordinates. You can find these at the top of the screen.
  • “Northeast 60 – there’s someone running across the street” is a clear statement
  • “Over there by the rock” usually only brings the counter question: “Where? Which rock?” with it.
• (Multiplayer) Announce Cars – Enemies or Empty?
  • “There’s a car” is an inaccurate statement. Directly say whether there’s an empty car standing there that you can use or if you see a moving car with enemies.
• (Multiplayer) Announce Grenades
  • A brief announcement when you throw a grenade is important. This way, teammates know they shouldn’t push but wait for the explosion.
  • It also becomes clear whether the grenade was thrown by you or the enemies.
• (Multiplayer) Squad Knockout and Caution
  • When you register as a squad for a match, you fight against other squads. After knocking an enemy, you shouldn’t put all your effort into killing them. Keep an eye out for their squad members who might try to help.
