Today, on July 13th, there are issues with the PSN on PlayStation. The online services are unavailable on PS4 and PS3 when trying to log in.
Update 7:45 PM: According to user reports, the services are running smoothly again. You can log in again.
If you wanted to spend a cozy evening on the couch in front of the PlayStation – and not run through the streets with Pokémon GO – you have a problem since a few minutes ago: The PSN is down – you cannot log in.
If you want to log in, you will receive a message that the PSN is under maintenance. The official PlayStation status page mentions a problem:
“You may have difficulties starting games, applications, or online features. Our developers are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, and we thank you for your patience.”
The affected platforms are PS4 and PS3.
Update 7:23 PM: It is now also indicated that all services of the PlayStation Store are not available anymore.
When the online services will be available again is currently unknown. Those who were already logged in beforehand can apparently play without issues.
