The beautiful MMORPG Black Desert is coming to the PS5. And that’s right at the launch of the next-gen console.
When does Black Desert Online start on the PS5? As soon as you have received your PS5, you can install the successful MMORPG on it and get started right away. The developers promise that the game will be available on the launch day of the new console.
A simple transition to next-gen
Do I have to pay for the transition? If you already own BDO on PS4 and play it actively, you do not need to buy the game again.
Unless you create a new PlayStation account and receive a new ID. You can only continue playing BDO for free on the PS5 if your PlayStation ID remains the same.
Can I just continue playing? If you switch from PS4 to PS5 and keep your PlayStation ID, you can continue playing Black Desert exactly where you left off on PS4.
Your entire account with progress will be transferred.
Are there improvements to the game? Currently, it is not known whether the MMORPG Black Desert will receive graphical improvements. It seems that you will simply be playing the regular version on PS5. A next-gen update has not yet been announced.
However, you should benefit from faster loading times. The MMORPG may also run more smoothly thanks to the higher performance of the PS5.
What about the Xbox Series X? Even if you switch from Xbox One to Xbox Series X/S, you can play the MMORPG BDO. And that starts from the launch day of the console on November 10.
It is also possible to simply continue playing. However, you need to use the same Xbox Live account.
So whether you are switching to PS5 or Xbox Series X/S, you can continue playing Black Desert.
