Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is on the horizon. The trailer reveals that a true PS5 hit is on the way.
If there is a profession that never has time to sleep, it must be the superheroes – primarily the two ‘Spider-Men’ Peter Parker and Miles Morales. They have already proven several times that they can protect their city from the influences of evil. However, the next adventure is just around the corner, as ‘Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’ will be released on PlayStation 5 in just a few days.
The launch trailer provides insights into the story and reveals that the game has a cinematic feel, reminiscent more of a good action movie than a video game, at least at times. But see for yourself:
What is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 about? The story is relatively connected to the experiences of the previous installment. Nine months have passed, and Miles still needs the help of Peter Parker. However, with the arrival of the mysterious symbiote (Venom), the friendship between the two is put to the test.
While Peter gains new powers, his character is also changing more and more – a problem, as Peter, Miles, Mary Jane, and Harry must face new enemies at the same time. Adversaries like Kraven, Lizard, and Sandman are also part of the game.
When does Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 come out? The game officially releases on October 20, 2023, which is this Friday. The release is exclusive to PlayStation 5 – and is likely to be a selling point for many for the console, even though Sony has already introduced the PS5 Slim.
