The PS4 received a new system update today, on May 30th: The update 4.70. What’s changing?
If you want to start a cozy gaming session after work today, you will first need to download and install a system update on your PlayStation 4. Otherwise, you won’t be able to play online.
- The update has the version number 4.70 and is approximately 340 MB in size.
The subsequent installation may take several minutes and requires a restart.
The patch notes are manageable: The system software update 4.70 improves the stability and quality of system performance.
However, another “innovation” has already been discovered: The symbol for the PlayStation Store has changed. Previously, the symbols X, Circle, Triangle, and Square were in the shopping bag, now the PlayStation logo is inside:
