Moreover, you can unlock a lot of stuff like skins or new modes if you play through the game multiple times with various challenges. This is pleasant in the game since the two campaigns are not only quite short, but you also learn more about the game.
Especially noteworthy is also Mr. X, one of the main villains in the game, who follows you everywhere and can appear at the most inconvenient moments. The feeling of being constantly pursued adds an extra layer of horror to the game. He was briefly even a friend in Monster Hunter World.
