GameStop ends the promotion of the PlayStation 4 Pro for 99€ early. You have two days left to pre-order the PS4 Pro at the low price of 99€, if you part with your used PS4 and two games.
The drama around the “PS4 Pro for 99€” does not stop. GameStop released a new statement on Thursday afternoon.
The promotion, which was supposed to run until May 14, will now end on April 30. The reason is the high demand. GameStop wants to fulfill all pre-orders. And pre-orders are still possible for two more days.

But today and tomorrow, on April 28 and 29, it is still possible to pre-order a PS4 Pro for 99€. Those who do this or have already pre-ordered should receive their PS4 Pro by early June at the latest.
GameStop stores are gradually being stocked with goods. The first pre-order customers will receive their PS4 Pro in the next two weeks. The last pre-order customers will receive it by early June at the latest.

To pre-order a PS4 Pro, you need to go to a GameStop today or tomorrow and place the pre-order there. You need to pay a deposit of 30€ or 30 Swiss francs.
You do not have to hand in the old console yet. This will only happen when the PS4 Pro is actually delivered.
GameStop apologizes for the promotion
GameStop has apologized for the frustration “in the context of the communication about the launch of the campaign”. As a basis for the quantity of available PS4 Pros, previous trade-in campaigns were taken into account. However, the rush on Wednesday was so gigantic that they were surprised by it.
GameStop apparently expected that the rush would be spread over the entire duration of the promotion, from April 26 to May 14. They did not anticipate that the demand would be so overwhelming right at the start.
In the future, they want to learn from these mistakes so that this does not happen again. Currently, GameStop is focusing on supplying as many customers as possible with the PS4 Pro.
