Sony has launched the #PlayAtHome initiative, which aims to motivate people to stay at home. In doing so, you get two co-op titles for the PS4 for free, one of which is a real highlight.
Which games are free? From April 16 to May 5, all users can look forward to two free games in the PlayStation Store, where we get a different game than the rest of the world:
- Worldwide, everyone gets access to the adventure Journey.
- Almost everywhere, there is also the Nathan Drake Collection, which contains the first three parts of the Uncharted game series. However, the Collection was only in the free games in PS Plus back in January.
- Only Germany and China receive Knack 2 instead of Uncharted.

How do you get the two free games? The two PS4 games will be available for download for free in the PS Store starting April 16 at 05:00 AM (until then they will be displayed as paid).
How to get them is explained here: Free games for PS4 are now available – Here’s how to grab the Sony gifts
Journey is a true gem
What is Journey? In this indie game, you travel as a nameless character through a beautiful world, trying to reach a mountain peak. Along the way, you traverse stunning landscapes and encounter various, unfamiliar players in multiplayer.
You only travel with one other player at a time and can communicate with them through improvised gestures. There is no text or voice chat.
The twist is that you still work together to achieve the goal. However, it can happen that you lose sight of each other and suddenly find yourself with a new player.
Who is Journey suitable for? It is a must for any fan of exploration games and showcases beautifully picturesque worlds. It is a very profound game that you should definitely play and enjoy at your leisure.
However, you don’t need a lot of time, as the game can be completed in just a few hours.
At the end of your journey, you find out which players you were traveling with. A very special experience that you shouldn’t miss.
Knack 2 – A varied adventure for in between
What is Knack 2? In this adventure, you take on the role of Knack, a golem, with whom you fight against goblins and robots. You can change your forms to discover new paths and solve puzzles.
The game has a rather simple story, but it impresses with good German voice acting.
In co-op, the game can be experienced either together on split-screen or online. Exclusive skills can even be used to keep the gaming experience fresh.
Who is Knack 2 suitable for? Anyone who enjoys giving enemies a whack while exploring a new world should definitely check out Knack 2.
The entire story can be experienced in about 8 to 12 hours, making it a great title to enjoy together with a good friend.
Anyone who does not want to miss out on Uncharted can be pleased: In April, the fourth part of the series is included in the free offerings of PS Plus.
