The PlayStation Network (PSN) appears to be experiencing issues as players on the PS4 are repeatedly being kicked from the party. However, Sony has not detected any server problems themselves. What is the cause?
Update from April 2: This evening of April second, the disturbance seems to be recurring. Several users on Allestörungen.de and also the official Twitter account of the site report a disturbance between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM:
PlayStation Network has had an outage since 6:17 PM. https://t.co/UsgBRyPpCk Retweet if you have problems too #PSNStörung

Yesterday, on April 1st, there was a similar outage at the same time. The issue has been recurring for several evenings now. As MeinMMO reader Boyka has already commented, the problem seems to lie with Telekom.
There is already a support thread in the forum where a staff member responded that the issue is being worked on (via Telekom).
Original report from March 31 – What is the problem? Several players are currently reporting that they are being kicked from their groups in the PSN – without apparent reason. They are getting booted from the chat or sometimes entirely from the group.
As reported by GamePro, this has now been the sixth day in a row that this is happening. Every day at about the same time in the evening, these issues occur. Also according to the outage services of Allestörungen.de and Netzwelt.de, players are regularly reporting this issue.
No Server Problems at Sony
What is the cause? According to the official service page of PSN, there are no disruptions in the network. All services are supposed to run smoothly. There is only a note that the download speed on the PS4 is throttled in cooperation with some Internet providers.
However, this should only affect downloads and not groups. Players still suspect that it is at least partially related to the Internet providers. Telekom, in particular, seems to be under suspicion:
I think it’s a routing issue with Telekom.

Problems with other services like PSN or Twitch Chat started at the same time.
Same issue. Everything with Internet is good, bandwidth is great. But things just aren’t working.
What can I do? If you cannot use the party function of the PlayStation, you still have access to the group features of the individual games. You should be able to create groups in the games themselves without any problems.
In games like CoD: Modern Warfare or the new BR mode Warzone, this even works with crossplay together with PC and Xbox One. According to GamePro, this function should still be usable.
“Due to network error, no longer in the party”
Players who are kicked receive the message: “Due to network error, no longer in the party.” This prevents them from playing and communicating with others, at least through the PSN group feature. Sometimes they cannot even join.
Some PS4 users report that they cannot even access the PS Store anymore. However, the problems seem to only affect individual users. Others can apparently continue to stay in the group without problems.
Unlike in a widespread outage in June 2019, there is no error code. There are no current updates on the problem on the official Twitter account of PlayStation Germany.
