The story is also beautifully presented, partly due to the excellent German voice acting. The visuals and story are paired with a well-executed RPG aspect and a well-thought-out crafting system.

What is less successful: After the player learns about Aloy in a great tutorial, the game loses its momentum significantly. Only after about a third of the game does the story pick up pace again. Also, the regular difficulty level is too easy. Experienced players should jump directly to a higher difficulty level among the four options. It is also unfortunate that there is no influence system for factions like in other games.
Who is Horizon Zero Dawn suitable for? Horizon Zero Dawn is worth it for all players who want to experience an exciting, engaging story. The blend of Stone Age and high-tech is unique in its form.

This works very well, as the game world is well-designed and offers a great atmosphere. The mix is also just right: shooter and stealth gameplay alternate, and the fights are enjoyable. The versatile crafting system also allows you to build and upgrade weapons with parts.
What is less successful: Especially in combat, the enemy AI is a negative aspect, making fights sometimes too easy. Additionally, the climbing controls are annoying as the game provides very little feedback to the user. It is also a shame that the protagonist Artyom has no voice actor.
Who is Metro: Exodus suitable for? If you are looking for a strong first-person shooter with believable characters and an exciting game world or have already played the predecessors, you should definitely check out Metro: Exodus.

What is less successful: Gameplay-wise, protagonist Lara Croft becomes very strong very quickly, making the game somewhat too easy overall. Especially, conversations with the residents feel unrealistic and forced. There are also many unnecessary collection tasks for boxes, herbs, and other trivial items. Additionally, the final boss feels quite unspectacular compared to the otherwise great presentation.
Who is Shadow of the Tomb Raider suitable for? If you enjoyed the two predecessors and like action-adventure games, you will likely have a lot of fun with the third Tomb Raider game. The trilogy also finds a worthy conclusion, which should please many fans of the series.
