We will briefly introduce you to the three titles and show the first reactions to the line-up for September.

We have restructured the article after the official announcement. Previously, the article dealt with a leak about the September line-up.
PS4: Need for Speed Heat – The feeling is back, but so are the quirks
With Need for Speed Heat you get the latest installment of the racing series with PS Plus Essential. The goal was to focus on the old strengths of the series – strong graphics, extensive vehicle customization, arcade-like driving behavior – and they delivered fully. There is also an open world for free driving.
However, this also brings back old quirks. For example, in the campaign, the main part of the game: It is flat and offers few narrative highlights. However, the story of NFS Heat shines with a day-and-night cycle, which provides variety and motivation.

PS5: Toem – An artistic adventure
With Toem – A Photo Adventure, you get the complete contrast program to NFS Heat.
With its hand-drawn black-and-white graphics, this adventure wants to take you on an artistic journey. Using your sense for great photo motives, you solve puzzles and meet lovable characters who give you a glimpse into their lives.
You explore the world of Toem at your own pace, always on the lookout for the next snapshot.

PS4: Granblue Fantasy: Versus – Anime fighter with story
The third game in the PS Plus bundle for September is a fighting game in anime style. Behind it are, among others, the two studios Cygames and Arc System Works, who have already made a name for themselves in the scene with Guilty Gear and BlazBlue.
Granblue Fantasy: Versus not only offers the usual PvP fighting action but also tells a story. Throughout the story, you will even encounter RPG elements to level up your characters.
It aims to be exciting for both newcomers and veterans of the genre. While newcomers can use simple commands for attacks, Granblue Fantasy: Versus allows veterans to execute more complex moves and tactics for maximum combo potential.

What do the first reactions look like? The line-up for September is not well received. Compared to the August games, the initial reactions are rather poor. Beneath a tweet from @Nibellion, the sentiment is clear:
- @The_Vboy: “Oh no, the PS Plus line-up is going to get worse every month from now on. The good days are over.”
- @VOOK64: “Granblue … never heard of it.”
- @Timster__18: “Mediocre month after many good ones. There have been worse, but oh well.”
Some are disappointed because a leak circulated. Among them was the indie hit Hades, which many players had wished for.
