PS Plus Essential offers you online gaming on PS4 and PS5 as well as a few games every month at no additional cost. The games for October 2022 are now known.
What games are there? The following 3 games can be downloaded in September as part of your PS Plus Essential subscription:
- Hot Wheels Unleashed
- Injustice 2
- Superhot
When can I play the games? The games will be available to you on the first Tuesday in October, usually around noon. The games are expected to be available for you on PS4 and PS5 from Tuesday, October 4.
Hot Wheels Unleashed
What kind of game is this? Hot Wheels Unleashed is a racing game where you race with toy cars on a track. In this game, you can test your skills on both the official tracks and tracks created by other players. The game also features an extensive editor, similar to TrackMania.
Injustice 2
What kind of game is this? Injustice 2 is a fighting game. You take on the role of various characters from the DC universe or other developers. You fight in 1vs1 battles against other players and try to combine your skills like in other fighting games to create combos.
Superhot
What kind of game is this? Superhot is a first-person shooter from 2016. What makes this shooter special is that enemies only shoot and move when you move or shoot.
This introduces a completely new tactical component to the game, as you need to plan your fights strategically. This makes the battles much more complex than just shooting through your opponents.
