This has already been confirmed by Sony: To celebrate the five-year anniversary of PlayStation VR, Sony has announced that Plus members will receive three bonus VR games in November, in addition to the usual 3 for PS5 and PS4.
Therefore, owners of the VR headset will get a total of 6 games in the PS Plus offer next month. Sony has not yet announced which ones they will be.
Halloween at PS Plus?
These speculations exist: The rumors about new PS Plus games mainly revolve around the free VR titles offered as a bonus in November. On the official page, Sony published a list of the most popular VR games:
- Rec Room
- Beat Saber
- PlayStation VR Worlds
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR
- Resident Evil 7 Biohazard
Some therefore suspect that one or more of these titles will be among the free VR games. After all, the campaign could serve to boost the sales of VR headsets.
Regarding the remaining games, there has been speculation that there could be a round of spooky Plus games fitting the season to capture the Halloween spirit. Names like Alien Isolation or Hunt: Showdown came up. The popular horror game Resident Evil 7 from the VR list would also fit into this pattern.
There were no leaks this time, which used to be quite common with PS Plus.
PS Plus in November 2021: Date and time
When will the games be announced? The new PS Plus games are usually announced on the last Wednesday of the respective month. You can expect the next announcement on October 27 at 5:30 PM.
When will the new Plus games be released? The release of the new Plus games takes place on the first Tuesday of the following month. This time, it would be November 2.
Keep in mind that there might be irregularities during both the announcement and the release, and both can be delayed.
