The new games that PS Plus users will receive in September are now known. As usual, there are 2 games for the PS4 and one for the PS5.
Here are the 3 new PS Plus games for September 2021: If you have an active subscription to PlayStation Plus or plan to get one soon, look forward to the following monthly free games in September:
- Predator Hunting Grounds (PS4)
- Hitman 2 (PS4)
- Overcooked: All You Can Eat (PS5)
The two PS4 games can also be played smoothly on a PS5 thanks to backward compatibility. However, you will need the corresponding console for the PS5 game.
When and where can you download the new PS Plus games? The 3 new free titles will be available to subscription users starting September 7 at no additional cost in the PlayStation Store.
Predator Hunting Grounds
What is Predator Hunting Grounds? The first-person shooter places you in the midst of a wild jungle area, as seen in the cult films Predator. You take on the role of an elite soldier who must complete a mission with his team. This may involve gathering information or eliminating a drug lord.
The problem, however, is that you are being hunted yourself. In this asymmetric shooter, another player takes on the role of the Predator and must eliminate the elite soldier team. They, in turn, must work together to achieve their goal and not end up dead.
They have various weapons and upgrades at their disposal that they can discover while exploring the jungle map. This also applies to the Predator player.
You should check out Predator Hunting Grounds if you enjoy asymmetric games like Dead by Daylight. In Predator Hunting Grounds, players have a bit more opportunity to defend themselves against the overpowering monster and can even kill it if they are skilled.

Hitman 2
What is Hitman 2? The grim Agent 47 is back and takes on the missions of the International Contract Agency in Hitman 2 for the PS4. You travel around the world to various locations to visit your targets and send them to the afterlife with surgical precision. Along the way, you’ll go through countries like Colombia or Russia, in the slums of Mumbai or in New Zealand.
You have a huge arsenal of weapons at your disposal to eliminate your targets, as well as the usual tricks of Agent 47, such as disguises. You can also get really creative in carrying out your hits, for example, by causing a “car accident” to eliminate your targets.
You should check out Hitman 2 if you like games with cool stealth mechanics. The assassination missions of Agent 47 require good planning and flawless execution to be successful.

Overcooked: All You Can Eat
What is Overcooked: All You Can Eat? The popular co-op series Overcooked is now also on the PS5 menu with a nice graphical update and in 4K resolution. The All-You-Can-Eat edition includes both the first and second parts of the series and all DLCs. There are many hours of challenges in the kitchen.
And in the kitchen, it feels like everything is burning, all at once. Together with other cooks, you have to master the chaos and cook delicious dishes. You will work in the most incredible kitchens, which are set in deep dungeons, at the North Pole, or even in outer space. Complete the tasks and don’t forget to put out the fire.

How to access the monthly PS Plus games
This is what you need for it: The requirement for the monthly free games is an active membership to PlayStation Plus, meaning a PS Plus subscription. For a 12-month subscription, you usually pay 59.99 €, but there are sales where you can get the subscription at a lower price. Please note: The annual costs are higher with a shorter membership duration.
As a subscription user, you will then receive 2 selected free games for PlayStation 4 and one free title for PS5 every month. The games will then be available for a limited time as a digital download in the PS Store and will not cost you anything extra (aside from the regular subscription fees). Once you have added these games to your library, you can play them anytime as long as you have an active membership – even if it expired in between. The games remain in your possession.
