If you have a PS Plus subscription, you could secure 1,100 CoD Points (€10) for free for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and CoD Warzone. However, there is now another version. Only those who started the download early enough will still receive the points.
Update May 27: After several reports from players that the trick with the CoD points no longer works, there is now an answer to the problem.
The version of CoD WW 2 offered with PS Plus was apparently not planned as such. There is now another version in the PS Store where the points can no longer be obtained.
Those who started the download at a certain time yesterday will still receive the CoD Points. It only matters when you started the download or when you added the game to your library. When the download was finished is irrelevant.
We do not know a specific time. However, we estimate that the download must have been started around 7 PM.
How do I get the points? Currently, for PS Plus subscribers, the old CoD title World War 2 is available for free as a Plus game in June. The offer has been valid since May 26, 2020.

However, the points are not automatically granted; you must redeem them first. Follow our simple steps to secure the points. Please note that you should not already own World War 2 or have already redeemed the bonus. It will only work if you did not have the game before.
Secure €10 for Modern Warfare & Warzone
Here’s how it works: First, make sure that you have completely downloaded World War 2. You need the multiplayer of the game. Although the game is playable after 14 GB, you must download it completely – which may be difficult if Modern Warfare has already taken up all your storage.
Then you need to complete the introduction and play a game – this only takes a few minutes. Only then is the HQ unlocked. Follow these simple steps:
- Check points
Check your balance of CoD Points (we have 400)
- Go to HQ
Then navigate to the post officer of the headquarters (HQ)
- Redeem points
Select the “Digital Edition bonus content” position at the officer.
- Check points again
Check your balance of CoD Points again (should now be 1,100 points more, we have 1,500)
- Start MW/Warzone
Log in to Modern Warfare/Warzone and check your account.
If you encounter problems, try updating your account. To do this, select the “Call of Duty Account” option in the settings and choose “Update.” Then your account should be recognized again.
What do I get for this? If you have received the points, you can do whatever you want with them. If you decide to buy the Battle Pass, you may find the legendary Captain Price as a playable operator in Season 4 waiting for you.
