Every month there are new games in the PS Plus Essentials subscription that you can play at no additional cost. When the games are announced and available, and what they might be, we will show you on MeinMMO.
What does the schedule look like?
- PS Plus: Games available from Tuesday, June 6
- Typically around 12 PM noon
- Possible announcement: Wednesday, May 31
- Reveal of the games often around 5:30 PM
The availability on June 6 is considered certain. However, the rules for the announcement are not always very clear. Typically, the games are presented on the Wednesday before the release.
Further down you will find speculation from the community about which games could go online on June 6. Until then, remember to add the current games from PS Plus to your library.

PS Plus June – Speculations and Rumors
What games could come in June? Currently, there are no leaks regarding the PS Plus Essential games for June 2023. However, we looked around a bit in the community, checked rumors, and list some possible titles for you.
However, please keep in mind that these are not definitive information but purely speculations and rumors circulating on the internet:
- FIFA 23
The very last FIFA would fit perfectly into the lineup. In May 2022, FIFA 22 was in the subscription, and the successor could also come. The next football game from EA is called EA Sports FC and to inform fans about the change, a free FIFA in PS Plus would probably be a good leverage.
- TUNIC
A little fox rushes through a mystical world, strongly reminiscent of the old Zelda games, spiced up with a touch of Dark Souls. A cute action-adventure with a respectable fan base fits well into the loot schema of PS Plus. Our colleagues at GamePro provide a brief assessment.
- LEGO game
PS Plus is an excellent way to draw attention to one’s franchise and since LEGO recently launched a full-price title in Mario Kart style, “LEGO 2K Drive”, the timing would be right.
- SIFU
A beat-em-up with 3D graphics and roguelite elements. SIFU was released in early 2022 and especially excites frustration-resistant people looking for a combat challenge. You will be knocked out often. Each time you get older, and when your character dies, you start over.
“Learn or Die” writes colleague Annika Bavendiek on GamePro. A lot has been said about SIFU, making it a suitable candidate for PS Plus.
- Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl
A fighting game in the style of Super Smash Brothers or Multiversus. However, here SpongeBob, Rocko, Garfield, and the Turtles smash each other. It is, however, a niche fan title that could experience a second spring with PS Plus to boost DLC sales.
What does PS Plus Essential offer? The subscription is important if you want to use the multiplayer on your PlayStation. Because only a few games open the online mode without PS Plus.
In addition, you regularly receive cosmetics or in-game currencies as gifts from various games and have extra discounts on some games. Check the PS Store regularly and check the PS Plus section so you don’t miss bonuses for games you find interesting.
Furthermore, you can move save data to the PS cloud, and there are the monthly games in the subscription. However, you can only use them if you are currently a member of PS Plus.
