The games for PS Plus Essential in April 2023 for the PS5 and PS4 have been announced. We will briefly introduce you to the games and show you when they will be available.
Which games are available in April 2023? Again in April 2023, there are three games that you can get with the PS Plus subscription:
- Sackboy A Big Adventure – PS4 / PS5
- Tails of Iron – PS5 / PS5
- Meet Your Maker – PS4 / PS5
When will the games be available? The “PS Plus” games are always available on the first Tuesday of a month:

The Return of a PlayStation Hero
Sackboy A Big Adventure: Sackboy is somewhat of a legendary hero on PlayStation, even a kind of mascot.
With “Sackboy A Big Adventure,” the cult figure returned in a 3D platformer and also brings along an online multiplayer. On the review platform Metacritic, the game has a good score of 83 for PS4.

Tails of Iron: In the dark indie game Tails of Iron, you take on the role of the royal rat “Redgi” and must free your kingdom from the cruel frog clan.
The action RPG stands out primarily due to its charming 2D setting. The PS5 version of the rat adventure achieved a score of 81 on Metacritic.

Meet your Maker: Meet your Maker combines an apocalyptic setting reminiscent of Doom with the gameplay of Mario Maker. The gameplay focuses on two groups of players: the builders and the raiders.
The builders create various levels with lots of traps and monsters that then have to be overcome by the raiders.

Even before the announcement on March 29, it was clear that Meet Your Maker would be included in the subscription. MeinMMO editor Maik Schneider does not believe the title will resonate much:
