Which games are available through PS Plus in April? There are again 3 games in the subscription:
- PS4 / PS5 – Hood: Outlaws & Legends
- PS4 – Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated
- PS4 – Slay the Spire

PS Plus April: Games – Spongebob, Card Game, Heists
What kind of games are these? The 3 games could hardly be more different. In the following paragraphs, you will find a brief description of the game.
- Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated
The colorful 3D platformer takes you on a journey through the world of the wackiest sponge in the oceans. You jump, punch and puzzle your way through Bikini Bottom.
The game was originally released for the PS2 and has been completely polished with “Rehydrated”. So you can give the villain Plankton a smack with the latest graphics.

- Slay the Spire
The digital card game is extremely difficult, roguelike, and offers an exciting mix of battles and deck-building. The mix was very well received by the press, giving the title a score of 88 on Metacritic (via metacritic.com).
If you are fans of card games on PC or console, then you will likely enjoy the challenging, yet rewarding gameplay. A glimpse is available in the trailer:
- Hood: Outlaws & Legends
The colleagues from GameStar describe the title in their presentation as a mix of Pay Day, Assassins Creed, and Hunt: Showdown, accurately capturing the essence of the dark adventure (via GameStar.de).
You and your friends carry out a medieval heist, all in a hostile PvEvP environment. Opponent players and NPCs are closing in on you and trying to prevent you from obtaining your well-earned riches.
A detailed preview of the game is offered by MeinMMO editor Alexander Leitsch, who says: “Hood: Outlaws & Legends is a lot of fun, but has 2 major weaknesses“.
When do the games come out? The games from PS Plus are available to you every first Tuesday of the month. This time it is April 5, and usually the games go live around 12 noon.
