PlayStation Plus “gives” you games every month as part of the paid subscription. Sony only reveals the new games for PS4 and PS5 shortly before the release. MeinMMO shows you the schedule and possible candidates for PS Plus April 2022.

Original message: What does the schedule look like? For PS Plus, there is a fixed date for the unlocking of the free games – the first Tuesday of the new month. All other information remains unclear beforehand:
- PS Plus: Games available from Tuesday, April 5
- Typically around 12 p.m.
- Possible announcement: Wednesday, March 30
- Announcement of the games often happens around 5:30 p.m.
The times and the date of the announcement are based on experience and may still change. The only certainty is actually the unlocking date on April 5.
In the following paragraphs, we would like to mention possible titles and inform about the contents of a subscription to PS Plus. You can secure the games from March until the new games are online:
PS Plus April – Speculations and Rumors
Which games could come in April? Currently, there are no leaks for PS Plus in April 2022. However, we have looked around in the community, checked rumors, and list a few possible titles for you.
However, please keep in mind that this is not reliable information, but purely speculation and rumors that are circulating on the internet:
- Cuphead for PS4 – Run&Gun action game focused on boss battles
- The incredibly difficult action game can be experienced in co-op and shows no mercy. It is the most persistent rumor in the community.
- Marvel’s Avengers for PS5 – Superhero MMO with popularity problems
- The title promised a lot, but did not perform well at release. However, the game is a service game and is still being developed. A good way to generate more interest would be through PS Plus.
- MLB: The Show 22 for PS4/PS5 – AAA-level baseball simulation
- An earlier installment of MLB: The Show was once available with PS Plus, and the release of the latest game in the series coincides exactly with the PS Plus day. A possible hint at a free entry.
- Everybody’s Golf for PS4 – Cute golf game with multiplayer
- The title is also available in the Xbox Game Pass and there are currently speculations that the golf game is also a candidate for PS Plus.
- Sackboy: A Big Adventure – PlayStation-exclusive 3D platformer
- Sony’s own games often end up on PS Plus, and the release of the title was over 1.5 years ago. The platformer with co-op also counts as a candidate being considered.

A game that you can certainly get for the PS5 is GTA Online. The next-gen version came out in March and you currently get the action game for free with PS Plus:
What does PS Plus bring? Most multiplayer games can only be played online with friends if you have an active membership with PS Plus.
In addition, there are the monthly games and other “free” extras like skins, discounts, or bonus packages for selected games. You also have a selection of Sony games available.
Make sure to check the PS Store from time to time and check the PS Plus section so you don’t miss any bonuses for games that you find interesting.
