Sony has officially revealed the new games for PS Plus in May 2022. In the new month, you get the best-selling PlayStation game in Europe for your PS4 and PS5. Additionally, there are 2 indie games that follow similar recipes but are quite different. MeinMMO presents the titles to you.

With FIFA 22, the best-selling PlayStation game of 2021 in Europe is included (via playstation.com). In addition, you will find the indie adventures Tribes of Midgard (which has a co-op mode) and Curse of the Dead Gods.
When are the games available? The PS Plus games will be available to you as always from the first Tuesday of the month – this time it is May 3, 2022.

PS Plus May 2022: FIFA 22 – Bigger than ever
What kind of game is this? FIFA is the world’s most well-known sports simulation and is coming to PS Plus with its current title for the first time in May.
Year after year, the latest version of the soccer game sells exceptionally well in Europe and consistently ranks at the top of the sales charts. There are hardly any bigger premium games available.
FIFA 22 offers you various modes in which you can live out your own football dreams:
- Direct duels against friends
- Building a team using card packs (Ultimate Team)
- Control individual players or play 11vs11 in Pro Clubs
- Create your own team in career/management mode
- Insane matches in Volta mode

PS Plus May 2022: Tribes of Midgard – Giants vs. Co-op Vikings
What kind of game is this? Tribes of Midgard is a survival roguelite RPG in which you and your tribe build a village and protect it from boss giants that want to take you down. This can be experienced solo, but also with up to 10 players in co-op.
You gather resources together, expand your village, craft tools, loot weapons, level up your characters, and lose everything again as soon as the challenges in the game become too great. With each run, you collect progress that allows you to become a little stronger next time.
There is a story mode with special challenges, but also a survival mode that lets you play until the giants overwhelm you.

PS Plus May 2022: Curse of the Dead Gods – Roguelite without mercy
What kind of game is this? The second indie title in the lineup is Curse of the Dead Gods. Here, too, you encounter roguelite elements.
As a lonely warrior, you fight your way through randomly generated temples, deal with nasty monsters and a large arsenal of deadly weapons.
The further you progress, the more the game wants to kill you. Curses, darkness, and traps make your life difficult.
With each run, you collect progress that helps you on future excursions into the dark world of Curse of the Dead Gods to advance even further into the cursed temples.
