Sony has officially revealed the new games for PS Plus in June 2022. In the new month, you get one of the best action games for your PS4 and PS5. In addition, there are 2 fighting games based on popular series. MeinMMO presents the titles to you.
Which games are available in June for PS Plus? As usual, with a PS Plus subscription, you can download 3 games at no additional cost for the PS4 and PS5. The games, which had already been leaked beforehand, are now also officially confirmed.
These are the 3 games:
- God of War (2018)
- Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker
- Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl
The most interesting game here is God of War. This action blockbuster for the PS4 is considered the most successful game on the PS4 and is said to have sold over 20 million copies. But Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl are also worth downloading.
When are the games available? As always, the PS Plus games will be available from the first Tuesday of the month – this time on June 7, 2022.

PS Plus June 2022: God of War (2018) – Personal story, epic presentation
What kind of game is this? The God of War from 2018 is neither a remake nor a sequel to the original trilogy in the traditional sense. While the game continues the story of the god of war Kratos, it changes pretty much everything else: gameplay, setting, narrative style.
After Kratos has taken down almost all well-known names from Greek mythology on PS2, PS3, and Sony handhelds, he has now been drawn to the North. Instead of Greek mythology, this time it’s about deities like Thor, Odin, Magni, and Modi.

Instead of viewing Kratos from above with fixed camera angles, the third-person perspective makes it feel more personal this time. Additionally, the game is narrated without a single camera cut, keeping the player close to Kratos at all times.
This is not only evident in the gameplay, where you slay your enemies with a new, powerful axe. The story is also much more human this time as it revolves around Kratos, his son Atreus, and their relationship after the death of Atreus’ mother.
But that doesn’t mean the game has forgotten to be epic. One of the first cutscenes in the game features such a spectacular battle that action fans might have their jaws dropped.
With a score of 94 percent on Metacritic, the game is among the best-rated games of the best years.
PS Plus June 2022: Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker – Ninjas fight in 4v4
What kind of game is this? This Naruto game has been on the market for a few years now and is not a typical story game that retells the anime. Instead, it is a pure fighter, where you can use your favorite ninja’s powerful jutsus against your friends or internet foes.
Combat takes place in a 4v4 setup, and the choice of your fighters is crucial. The characters are divided into archetypes, such as healers or defenders.

So it’s not just about your skill on the controller. Your intellect also needs to be engaged for good strategies. Especially fans of the anime will get an action-packed spectacle with Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, where they will get their money’s worth.
PS Plus June 2022: Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl – Sponge against Turtles
What kind of game is this? Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is essentially Super Smash Bros but featuring the most famous cartoon characters from your childhood.
The fighters in this brawler come from popular Nickelodeon animated series, including SpongeBob and Patrick, Avatar, or the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
As in Smash Bros, it’s less about reducing your opponent’s health to zero and more about knocking them off the colorful maps. The 20 combat arenas also come from the cartoon series.
