PlayStation Plus had many changes in June, but the free games in the subscription remain. The PS Plus games in July bring you a crazy platformer, a horror game, and arcade action. You can find all the games on MeinMMO with a brief introduction.
Which games are coming to PS Plus in July? There are three games this time:
- Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time (PS4 & PS5)
- The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan (PS4)
- Arcadegeddon (PS4 & PS5)
If you have the standard subscription “PS Plus Essential”, you can download the games at no additional cost.
When are the PS Plus games available? Usually, the new games go online on the first Tuesday of a month around midday. This time, it’s July 5, 2022.
Until the new games are available, remember to add the June games to your library:
PS Plus July 2022: Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time
What kind of game is this? Crash Bandicoot is a crazy Tasmanian devil who was something like the Super Mario of PlayStation in the 90s.
In the 4th and latest installment of the series, you jump, punch, and scamper your way through many crazy levels and, as always, save the world on the side. Or the complete framework of space and time.

PS Plus July 2022: The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan
What kind of game is this? Almost more of a movie than a game, “Man of Medan” immerses you in a dark atmosphere full of dangers and constant fear.
The game comes from the creators of the PlayStation hit “Until Dawn,” and you can expect something similar from Man of Medan.
You simply try to survive the story while the immersive experience pulls you deeper into a vortex of violence and horror.
The playtime is short but intense. You can find a detailed review with the colleagues at GameStar (via gamestar.de). We’ll embed a gameplay trailer for the game here:
PS Plus July 2022: Arcadegeddon
What kind of game is this? Arcadegeddon is a colorful multiplayer shooter with a service approach. The game is constantly being developed and receives free new content.
You play either as four-person teams against each other in crazy modes or can fight off hordes of enemies together in PvE modes.
The vibrant shooter also offers hero mechanics like in Overwatch, and the characters come with unique traits and moves.
