You can expect not only hardcore action reminiscent of classic action films from the 80s but also well-staged set pieces. You complete missions in American locations and have an arsenal of weapons and abilities to support you in battle.
A very unexpected highlight of both games is the characters. They are well-written and, unlike many genre colleagues, feel like real people suffering under the regime but still trying to fight.
2. Deathloop

What kind of game is this? Deathloop is the last game before Arkane Studios became exclusive due to the Microsoft acquisition. It is a time-travel game where you must try to break the loop in a dystopian world full of rich crazies.
To break the loop, you need to learn daily routines, secret passages, traps, and enemy placements. To break the loop, you must kill all targets within one day. In addition to the armed residents, there is also a time-traveling opponent in the form of Juliana.
The art design is a feast for the eyes, featuring a mix of 60s aesthetics and classic spy films. This is complemented by fitting music and ironic humor that perfectly matches the game.
