What is Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout? Fall Guys takes mini-games and competitions to the Battle Royale format: Instead of equipping yourselves with weapons and clearing all opponents from the map as in Fortnite, you must compete in Fall Guys against a total of 60 players in a series of wacky tasks.
This is most comparable to Takeshi’s Castle. It was a Japanese television format in the 80s where participants had to compete against each other in a series of wacky tasks.
The game is therefore designed for multiplayer. And it’s less about winning and more about having fun with the chaos and the tasks. Just like a party game.
What makes it special? Fall Guys doesn’t take itself seriously at any moment during the game. In colorful graphics, you hop, stumble, and jump through a vibrant game world trying to survive the tasks. The game is colorful and chaotic and fully relies on the physics engine.
It’s comparable to the success story of Rocket League: Here, too, the developer Psyonix, which now belongs to Epic, released the game with PS Plus. Today, the auto-sport game is very successful.
Fall Guys Takes Off on Twitch
