Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is not really a game for kids. But without his little daughter, a player no longer ventures into battle in Black Ops 4. A video has gone viral. Most find it sweet, but there are also voices that consider this very poor parenting.
This can be seen in the clip: The player Clever Tricks enjoys playing the Battle Royale mode Blackout in Black Ops 4. He is not bad at it, but was caught off guard and taken down by an opponent.
But Clever Tricks was not alone. He had his daughter Melody with him, who immediately rushed to her daddy’s aid.
While the father dragged himself to safety, one could hear nothing but wild shooting from the nearby house, crashing furniture, a death scream, and finally a sweet little girl’s voice: “I’m fine”.

Clever Tricks daughter Melody is only 5 years old, but in Black Ops 4 she handles herself extremely well. She effortlessly neutralized the remaining opponent without taking damage, and her father was extremely proud of his child when she revived him.
Only the word “kill” is not used in the game; when Melody takes down an opponent, the father-daughter duo uses the word “Murk”.
Great success on Twitter and YouTube
This is how much success the clip has on Twitter: Clever Tricks shared the video of his rescue by his daughter on Twitter and received a lot of positive feedback.
Within 48 hours, the video was viewed about 5.3 million times.
In addition, there were more than 300,000 likes and over 120,000 retweets. There was also a flood of funny and appreciative memes and comments for the sweet duo of daddy and daughter.
Since it seems many want to continue following the adventures of the two mismatched players, Clever Tricks has now started a YouTube series called Daddy Daughter Duty.
These are the reactions: For German eyes, quite curious, the reactions to the video are mostly positive. It is generally perceived as “cute”.
However, there was a rather negative response on Twitter that also received a lot of attention: “Why the hell is a 5-year-old playing a game rated 17? Yes, it’s cute and all. But seriously, that’s just poor parenting. I won’t even let my 9-year-old brother play Fortnite until he is at least 13.”
