The nerf of the DMR 14 is currently the big topic in CoD Warzone. The pro player Nickmercs, however, does not view the nerf as too weak negatively. He believes that another nerf will come.
This is the state of the DMR 14: With the introduction of the weapons from Cold War into Warzone, the DMR 14 has taken on an overpowering role. It dominated Warzone and was simply too strong.
Now the nerf has come and the DMR 14 has been slightly weakened. For many players, however, the nerf was too little. The weapon is still strong and continues to dominate.
Pro says: DMR 14 will get another nerf
This is what Nickmercs said: The streamer and pro of Call of Duty sees something positive in the nerf. He believes that the DMR 14 will receive another nerf.
He says: ‘Here is the good news, if a weapon takes over Warzone and gets a nerf, and that doesn’t do much, history shows that another nerf will come and it will be 100% devastating.’
Nickmercs believes that another nerf will be significantly more devastating and that the weapon will be weakened to the point where it plays no role in the meta.
In his video, where he discusses another nerf of the DMR 14, he even bids farewell to the weapon. Nickmercs is firmly convinced that the weapon will soon no longer be as strong.
How likely is a second nerf? It is quite conceivable that the developers will implement another nerf. So far, the damage of the DMR 14 has been reduced, but according to experts, the accuracy has even improved somewhat.
The criticism of the weapon is therefore still considerable and the developers could focus on the precision that makes the DMR 14 so strong in a further nerf. This could appease nerfed players, but at the same time the weapon could become so weak that it plays no role in the meta.
So far, this is just a theory from Nickmercs and not official information. The coming days will show whether the developers are satisfied with their nerf so far or if they will make adjustments.
