– Richer, more dynamic worlds
– “Next Generation Gaming Performance”
However, it lacks some performance and storage capacity, and 4K is not expected to be achieved natively. You can find the exact details about the Xbox Series S here.
Also, the big brother, the Xbox Series X, has been introduced in detail. It offers, among other things, 1 TB of storage and 4K.
Xbox Series X and S – Info on Pre-order and Release
Microsoft has detailed the exact details regarding the pre-ordering of both consoles in a blog post. They seem to want to prevent the chaos that occurred with Sony’s PS5. There, everything was very last minute and chaotic. Many consoles were sold out after a short time.
Xbox even teased with a tweet against the competitor.
This is how the pre-order works:
- The pre-orders for the Xbox Series X and S start in Europe at 9:00 AM our time
- You can shop directly at Microsoft or independent retailers such as Amazon, OTTO, GameStop, or MediaMarkt. The complete list of retailers was tweeted.
- The consoles will then be delivered on November 10
All Access and Game Pass: Microsoft also offers “Xbox All Access”. Under this program, you can get the consoles for €35 or €25 a month for 24 months, including Game Pass Ultimate. This offer is not available in Germany but in some EU countries like Denmark, Sweden, France, or Great Britain.
If you still don’t want to miss out on Game Pass Ultimate, which is also called Netflix for gamers, we have a trick that can save you over €200.
