Update 9:30 AM: We from MeinMMO have now called Medimax again and asked if the sale has already happened and whether it still makes sense to wait. And the answer is likely to disappoint many who have been waiting.
The employee was not 100% sure but said that some had already gotten through, and it basically doesn’t make sense to wait on that side, which is still struggling with technical problems.

Update 6:40 PM: By now, all consoles are likely sold out, as EURONICS reports. Thus, there is only hope on Medimax.
Update 6:15 PM: According to EURONICS, the first orders are apparently starting to come in. They announced on Twitter that a limited number of accesses to the shop are now allowed. However, the tweet has since been deleted.

However, the PS5 is sold out at most retailers by now. Only EURONICS has spoken up in a tweet and announced that no consoles have been sold yet.
Instead, preorders will only be possible once their system is running stably. Currently, you can access the EURONICS website, but as soon as you click a link related to the PS5, an error message appears.
Will there be preorders today? It is currently not certain whether the EURONICS system will be stable today or not. There is no guarantee for a purchase on this platform.
