Can you pre-order? Since the Lightfall reveal on August 23, 2022, Bungie has opened its sales counters. You can now buy the new expansion on various platforms and marketplaces and thus pre-order exclusively.

Destiny 2: Lightfall Standard Edition

Who is this edition for? This Standard Edition is especially worthwhile for players who want to play only the DLC and the first season of Lightfall. If you are unsure whether Bungie can convince you with Lightfall, it is better to save your money and try Neomuna first with this edition.

With this edition, you are covered until the next DLC ‘The Final Shape’ and do not have to worry about additional costs. You can also go directly into the dungeons and thus do not need to buy anything extra for the entire DLC year of Lightfall.

Who is this edition for? The Collector’s Edition is primarily for collectors who like to display figures and memorabilia in the form of books and concept arts. Also, players who study lore might enjoy such goodies.
However, keep in mind that the included creature named ‘Pouka’ cannot resurrect you. Nevertheless, its origins, purpose, and future may play a role in Lightfall.
