As a PR action for the release of Monster Hunter World, developer Capcom has set up the “Monster Hunter Meat Shack” in London. There, you will be served gigantic mountains of meat for free.
In Monster Hunter World, a hunt typically begins with a big feast! Your loyal Palico cat companion works hard in the kitchen to serve you a massive pile of meat dishes. Stuffed and full of buffs, hunting is much easier.
A feast like this in real life is currently taking place at a Monster Hunter PR event in London.
Eat and play in the Monster Hunter Meat Shack
In London at Flat Iron Square, Capcom has created the “Monster Hunter Meat Shack” as a PR stunt. This is a grill booth designed with the ambiance of Monster Hunter World. You will find jungle decor and the skull of Rathalos, among other things.
Anyone who secures a spot in the Meat Shack can gorge on gigantic meat platters and giant burgers for 1.5 hours for free. Regular supplies are grilled on a giant spit. However, by human staff, not by Palicos.
By the way, there is only meat. Vegetarian options are explicitly excluded in the event description.
If you’re in London…
Besides the gluttony, the Monster Hunter Meat Shack also offers an opportunity to play Monster Hunter. The console is embedded in the table, so you don’t even have to stand up to stuff yourself virtually in the game.
The event runs until Sunday, January 28, 2018. So, if you happen to be in London this weekend, are over 16 years old, very hungry, and want to play Monster Hunter World while stuffed, you should check out Flat Iron Square.
