A new post-apocalyptic MMORPG called The Skies: Reborn has launched on Steam. However, players are not particularly enthusiastic.
What kind of game is this? The Skies: Reborn is the free-to-play re-release of the post-apocalyptic MMORPG The Skies, which launched in Early Access in 2016. However, the first version never made it past the EA phase.
In the game, civilization on Earth has collapsed due to increased solar activity. Now, 150 years later, the reclaiming of the planet is set to begin.
- You can expect a large world of 12 km², where you will travel on foot and by vehicles.
- You must fight against gangs and mutants, as well as in PvP against other players in fast shooter battles. To do this, you will improve your hero’s skills and craft or find powerful equipment.

How is the game being received? After launching on November 12, the game currently has a rating of only 14 % on Steam and is marked as “Negative.” Critics claim that it looks too poor for a game released in 2020, that it is not optimized, that there are issues with hackers, and that there are still many bugs. In addition, allegations of Pay2Win arise.
