The Twitch streamer Mahluna surprises not only with her talent for video games and singing, but also with an unexpected skill: the perfect imitation of seagull calls.
Who is the streamer? Mahluna is one of the most well-known gaming streamers in Germany. She has an average of around 2,000 viewers during her streams, placing her on par with other famous streamers like Gnu (via Twitchtracker).
The 25-year-old particularly enjoys showcasing her skills in the shooter Valorant, in which she has already spent over 3,600 hours on Twitch. However, she began her streaming journey in 2019 with League of Legends.
But the streamer is not just talented in gaming; she also impresses with her skills in languages, singing, and chess. And she has a very special talent that has nothing to do with gaming.

“What am I doing here? This is my job, dude”
What talent does the streamer have? Recently, Mahluna was a guest on Henke’s podcast “Henke’s Corner.” In the 33rd episode of the podcast, Henke talks with her about a variety of topics, including her started law studies, her career as a streamer, and her relationship with the streamer Mango.
Things get particularly exciting when Henke asks her about a secret talent, aside from her singing ability. Mahluna promptly replies that while she enjoys singing, she has a completely different talent and dryly adds: “The seagull.”
How did Henke react to her talent? At Henke’s request to demonstrate her talent, Mahluna imitates a seagull’s call. Henke laughs and remarks on how accurate her imitation is.
Mahluna blushes and looks around, as they were in a well-attended park. She points out that everyone was staring at her. Henke keeps laughing and simply says: “What am I doing here? This is my job, dude.” Mahluna does not get discouraged and loudly imitates a seagull again:
“There were seagulls that talked to me”
What does Mahluna say about her talent? Shortly after, Henke points towards the trees and claims that other birds react to Mahluna’s imitation and make sounds back. The streamer then shares that she once spent a few days in Turkey. “There were seagulls that talked to me. One hundred percent. They answered me,” she says with a serious expression while Henke continues to smile and is speechless.
Shortly thereafter, Mahluna tells about a special competition, a seagull contest, which presumably took place this year in April. She suggests that the competition probably took place in England and confidently adds: “I would have won them all.”
This competition she speaks of is likely the European Championship in seagull calling. This championship was won by a nine-year-old boy from Derbyshire who has developed a real obsession with the birds and can perfectly imitate their shrill calls.
She became aware of her talent through her idol
How did she become aware of her talent? To conclude, Henke asks how Mahluna even came to discover this unusual talent. Mahluna explained that she saw a TikToker imitating seagull sounds, and she simply tried to mimic that.
Henke confirms that it obviously worked well. Mahluna adds, “But she’s still my idol. She does it better.”
The podcast also addressed numerous other topics, including the discovery of a private forum on Reddit where users share their masturbation fantasies, in which Mahluna is the center of attention. The streamer finds this repulsive. You can learn more about it here: A German Twitch streamer discovers a very disgusting forum about herself: “You make me sick”
