Which series is starting soon on Netflix? In our region, the series will be called The Frog. Although the translation of the Korean original title is rather “In the forest where no one is.” The series is set to premiere on August 23, 2024 on Netflix. In total, there will be eight episodes.
In The Frog, Ko Min-Si plays a young woman who checks into a motel on a quiet summer day. As the trailer already shows, she quickly turns the life of the motel owner, his employees, and other visitors upside down.

The trailer shows Ko Min-Si hitting someone with a fire extinguisher or dousing them with gasoline and presumably burning them afterward. Why the young woman has it in for the other people in the motel can probably be discovered throughout the series. However, the trailer hints here and there that there is likely more behind it than simple murderous intent.
Especially Ko Min-Si impresses in the trailer with her performance and gives hope that The Frog will be an exciting and interesting thriller. “Min-Si is carving out her own place in the thriller genre and that’s why I’m here,” writes a user in his comment under the trailer.
